Russian farmtrip group to survey trans-Viet route

A farmtrip group of ten Russian businesses is expected to visit Vietnam in the fourth quarter of 2012. During the eight-day visit, the group will survey the trans-Viet route to Hanoi, Halong, Hue, Hoi An, Danang, My Tho and Ho Chi Minh City.
Russia is currently the most potentially important tourism market of Vietnam and the Vietnam National Tourism Administration welcoming the farmtrip group is part of the national tourism promotion programme in 2012.

In 2011, Russia jumped from the 25th to 11th place among the tourist markets in Vietnam. Vietnam attracts Russian tourists due to affordable prices, safety, good service and beautiful landscapes. However, Russian tourists mainly flock to Vietnam’s central coastal provinces such as Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa), Mui Ne (Binh Thuan), Hoi An and Danang.

The survey in some destinations in Southern and Northern Vietnam lays the foundation and offers opportunities for setting tour schedules and bringing Russian tourists to Vietnam.
